Your account
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
Your content
You keep all rights to the content you upload. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to run the service, including showing public books to readers.
You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights to publish it, including text, images, fonts and music inside your books.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Flipio to:
- upload or publish anything unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or sexually explicit involving minors;
- distribute malware or attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users’ accounts;
- send spam or use the service to deceive or phish readers;
- use automated means to overload the service or to scrape it at a rate that harms other users.
Removal of content
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law, or in response to a valid rights-holder complaint. If you believe your work has been copied without permission, contact us with the details and a link to the book.
Plans and payments
Plans, limits and prices are shown on the Pricing page and may change. If paid plans are offered, the price, billing period and refund conditions will be shown at checkout before you pay. Limits such as the number of books or storage apply to the plan you are on.
Availability
We work to keep Flipio available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features, and we will try to give notice of significant changes. Keep your own copies of important files.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. To the extent allowed by law, Flipio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.
Ending your account
You may stop using Flipio and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are material we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
